Unlike another reviewer, I do not incorporate a cell phone while riding. Mine is kept tucked away in a rear jersey pocket. Therefore, outside electrical interference is at a minimum. What I like about this computer is how well & snugly it fits into a genuine CatEye “out front” bracket; easy to see & read. And unlike the much bigger Padrone, this one has a pace arrow.
Also…using a (name withheld) brand headlight, it works with the headlight in ANY mode; flashing, steady, whatever. So if you’re “old school” like me & just need the basics from a bike computer, you should check out this one. I now own two!
CatEye Strada Slim Black CC-RD310W Slim reviews
I have been a wide consumer of cateye products and recommend cateye products to my friends and family. The Cateye Strada Slim would be one product that i would not recommend. Installing the computer was pretty straightforward, using simple elastics to secure the computer to the stem and fork. I had to use a spacer made of electrical tape to bring the sensor close enough to the magnet.
Unfortunately, my Samsung Galaxy S5 which i keep on a handlebar mount causes the computer to stop registering and reads 0mph.
The same thing happens when the Cateye Volt 300 is next to it.
Also, max speed is bugged, often saying that the max speed was 65mph when the most i ever reach is upper 30's. This has happened on multiple occasions
