Cheap, but not built that way. Indestructible, light and easy on the bottles. I’ve had a pair on my 1996 Bianchi Eros since new. After using a carbon-fiber cage that really marred my bottles, and actually weighed slightly more, I went back to CatEye cages on my Bianchi Infinito. I put two pairs on our Santana Tandem. They may not be the most “in-vogue” cages, but they do what cages are supposed to do. They also look good on all three of the bikes. I kinda wish white were still available as they would look good on my wife’s bike.
