Simple and sweet

My new Velo 7 replaces an old Cateye. I just wanted something to log local trips & speeds. The new screen is simple and larger; it is also easier to read compared to the old model. And the price is right!

Good drop-in replacement

The Velo 7 bike computer I had installed on my Schwinn for years got knocked off its mounts and the screen was broken. The new Velo 7 I bought fit onto the old mount without any problems. After setting the parameters and the time, I was back in business, as if nothing had happened. My only complaint is that the instructions for set-up could use a few more words or perhaps a redesign. It was a bit like decoding hiereoglyphics to follow them.

Velo 7 Works On Road and Off

The CATEYE Velo 7 computer allowed me to wire the sensor to my rear wheel using an extra piece of wire. This allows me to track rides both outdoor during nice weather and during the off season when the bike is mounted on a trainer!
