AMPP1100

I was looking for a self-contained handlebar-mounted rechargeable light that was bright enough for dusk and night-time street riding...the AMPP1100 is everything I was looking for! Steady, wide beam, and I can get two long rides out of a single charge. I've ridden in light rain, and have seen no issues with water getting into the case so far. PLEASE READ: I specifically purchased this light because the photos on the website show it connected to a handlebar mount using a GoPro-style mount. This mount DOES NOT come with the light, you have to purchase an adapter for another $10. Not a big deal, but frustrating if you have to pay shipping because when you order the adapter on its own, you won't meet the threshold for free shipping. CATEYE should fix the website, or clearly state "does not come with GoPro mount" in the item description.

Does GREAT job lighting up the road!! I do mostly late nightriding when the streets are quiet where I live. My favorite mode is Hype-Constant!! I also like that Cateye did NOT change a good mount design just for the sake of changing it, thus forcing established customers to purchase new. My new head light works on my existing mount that are over 10 years old!! I have four bicycles... one from 80's, two from mid 90s and one from 2012. I've been a Cateye fan / customer for decades. And will continue to be one!!

Downloaded the CatEye app, Paired with my iPhone 14ProMax and went for a 10 mile ride. Recorded right to my phone on the map. Perfect ! Much better than using just a Bluetooth wheel sensor and a phone that pings the cell tower to track your route and eats up your cell battery in no time at all. I was going to return the CatEye Air GPS but will keep now.
