My original Padrone+ was defective and Cateye promptly sent out a replacement. This computer programmed perfectly out of the box and it works great. I tested it against my truck odometer and it is very accurate. It is a precise and quality device. The computer can be easily removed and replaced for security purposes.

If it is setup properly it will render correct readings. It is important to program the right wheel size for accuracy. My wheel size was not indicated on the chart but the Cateye site has an effective calculator which I used. If your headlight is too close to the computer it will interfere (only while flashing but not when it is a solid light) with its readings. My sensor device is attached to the right front fork so I moved the headlight as far left as possible on the handlebar and absolutely no interference. Really like the ease of using this computer for going to the different functions and especially appreciate the easy-to-read screen and the backlight. I am planning on doing an upcoming 25 mile ride sponsored by our local University and looking forward to recording the results! I want to thank D.J. at Cateye for his excellent guidance and help thru this process.

I really like this computer because of the quality, features and easy to read screen. I especially like the feature that records the riding time as I keep a record of the hours for maintenance purposes. This one was defective so I returned it on warranty and looking forward to getting the replacement. DJ was very helpful and supportive in the process of setting it up and then returning it. This company stands behind their products and promptly sent me out a replacement.

Amazing piece of equipment....large letters, easy to read and easy to set up

Initially experienced problems with cat eye Padrone, the display would intermittently freeze, I reset, reprogrammed the computer, replaced the batteries and readjusted the sensor with no benefit.
I contacted Cateye and returned the unit under warranty and received a replacement unit.
I programmed and installed the replacement unit and it works perfectly.
All is well.

I'm sure I will like it once I actually have it on my bike, but I am not impressed that the instruction sheet does not include a very basic tire size, 26 x 2, in it's metric measurements chart. This measurement has to be inputted into the computer. I had to go on the Cateye website to see what I need to do for my tires, which involves taking a manual measurement after rolling my bike to a point.Just have all the different tire sizes listed!
